Hello,

My name is Mr. McGee and I am the 6th grade Pull Out Resource -Language Arts Teacher.

In the 2019-2020 school year we will be learning various reading as well as writing skills.

Each evening it is important that students read 20-30 minutes and complete a reading log due on Fridays.

GRADING

Grades will be broken down into three categories:

Assessment/projects 60%

Classwork/participation 35%

Homework 5%

***ROUTINES:

STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE TO CLASS ON TIME UNLESS THEY HAVE A PASS

1st late = warning, 2nd late = lunch detention, 3rd late = referral to Administration/VP

CLASSROOM RULES

1) Be on time to class with all materials listed above.  Immediately begin the “Do Now”/ “Get Ready”.

2) Be respectful to teachers, adults and peers.

Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

Use appropriate language.

3) Follow instructions the first time they are given.
