I am Mrs. Black the Inclusion teacher for Social Studies (7th/8th) and Science (8th).   It is my pleasure to have your child in our class.  I believe that open lines of communication between parent, student and teacher are the fundamental keys to promoting an educational climate that is conducive to learning.  Everyday brings about new challenges and experiences but for each new day we take those challenges and experiences and learn from them.    

I graduated from Kean University and New Jersey City University with degrees in Business Management and Special Education.  I have found my work supporting elementary aged students with and without IEPs extremely rewarding.   I am committed to their progress and growth in all academic and social skills.

My goal is to teach to inspire thought and the ability for students to make sense of the world in which we live.
